The boundaries of the Woodlands community are as follows: 24th Street to the west, Canyon Meadow Golf Club to the east, Fish Creek Park to the south and Anderson Road to the north. Transit
Bus route 56 serves the Woodlands community, with a stop at the intersection of Woodview Drive and Woodpark Boulevard.

Parks & Recreation
The Fish Creek Park and the Canyon Meadow Golf Club both border the community of Woodlands in Calgary. These two sites alone make the place a great one for outdoor recreation, but the community also contains the Woodview Park; this park features two softball fields. Formed in 1957, the Canyon Meadows Golf Club was renovated in 2000 and membership is less strict than other golf clubs in Calgary.

Just outside the community is the Canyon Meadows Shopping Centre, including stores like Rexall Drug Store, a medical clinic, a ballet and dance studio, a dollar store, a Subway and a salon as well.
