Evergreen - SW Calgary Real Estate


Established in 1999, Evergreen is the newer community when compared to sister community Evergreen Estates, which was established in 1980. It's bordered by Fish Creek Blvd to the north, Everridge Dr SW to the west and south, and Everstone Dr SW to the east. This is the southern portion of the community, while the northern portion is bordered by Shawnee Slopes to the east and the Elbow River to the west. The average price of a single-family home is around $575,000, while that number is around $375,000 for condos.

Transit
Bus route 52 serves the Evergreen community, with a stop at the intersection of Millrise Boulevard and Shawnee Drive, as well as an LRT station.

Parks & Recreation
The Elbow River and surrounding greenery is located just north of Evergreen, and the Shawnee Slopes is located just northeast, next to the Evergreen Estates. However, the Slopes will be developed into 1,700 residential houses to provide higher density usage of the LRT.
