Transit
The red line of the LRT runs straight through the Downtown East Village community. A bus line also moves around the exterior of the community. However, the primary mode of transit for many is simply walking or bicycling. Residents do not want to travel far for work or play.
Parks & Recreation
As you can imagine, there are no green spaces within this small urban community, but lovely green spaces are not far away. The community borders the Bow River; in fact, the most affluent residents have a view of the river and enjoy the River Walk right outside their doors.
