Deer Run is a small SE Calgary community, an offshoot off the larger Deer Ridge, bordered by Canyon Meadows Drive to the north, Bow River to the south, Deer Run Boulevard to the east and Bow Bottom Trail to the west. Transit
Deer Run is served by route 28 which runs down Canyon Meadows Drive, then Deer Run Boulevard, Deer Run Drive and finally 146 Avenue where the single stop is located within the community. The nearest station is Canyon Meadows and it also has a LRT line located in the same spot. Below are the busses that run route 28.

In the northern part of Deer Run is an ample green space complete with the Deer Run Public Tennis Courts and Deer Run Community Centre.
