Half of Windsor park is a Country Club with a golf course. Only a few communities in Calgary are structured in that way. The community is bordered by 50 Avenue to the north, the Elbow River to the west, Macleod Trail to the east and 48 Avenue to the south.

The population in 2012 was 4,126; 2,421 residences are located within the Windsor Park borders. A mix of townhomes and single-family residences dot the area. The yards a beautifully maintained and the trees are tall and full. Prices range from $550,000 to $800,000.

Transit
The CTrain runs by the community along Macleod Trail.

Parks & Recreation
The Calgary Golf and Country Club is the most prominent feature of the community, both in terms of outdoor green space and recreational facilities. It was established in 1897 and as such is one of the oldest private courses in Alberta. Windsor Park is however located near many other parks: Altadore Park, Sandy Beach Park, Riverdale Park, Crescent Park, Elboya Park and of course Windsor Park, the last two of which are located inside the community. Located just south of Windsor Park is the Chinook Shopping Centre, which has stores like Guess, Addition Elle, Laura Petites and Reitman's.
