The borders of Meadowlark Park are as follows: 58th Avenue SW to the north, 5th Street SW to the east, Glenmore Trail SW to the south and Elbow Drive SW to the west. The population of Meadowlark Park is small at approximately 650 persons, but unlike other communities in southwest Calgary of this size the home prices are not in the millions; however, they still are on the upper end of the scale for the city, ranging from approximately $800,000 to $1,000,000.

The nearest bus route is 3, along with the terminal on Heritage.

Parks & Recreation
Located at the heart of the community is Meadowlark Park, while a companion park, Meadowview, is located just north. The former consists simply of greenery while the latter offers a baseball field. The community borders Bel-Aire and Mayfair to the west, two of the most sought-after neighborhoods in Calgary. As a result, the nearby lake-like portion of the Elbow River is easily within reach, as well as its surrounding banks. This proximity makes outdoor fun simple. Shopping as well in the area is a breeze because Chinook Centre is just next door to the east, offering over 250 stores, eateries (the food court seats 900) and service providers. In fact it's rare for a community to be flanked by such prime outdoor recreational space to the left and excellent shopping to the right.
