As its name implies, Wildwood is a community rich in natural beauty … and residents can't afford to live there unless they have millions. Home prices in fact don't go lower than $1,500,000, and go as high as $5,000,000 and beyond. In 2012 the population was 2,598. 1,056 homes are located within the borders of Wildwood, which are: the Bow River to the north, Bow Trail SW to the south, Sarcee Trail SW to the west and 38th Street to the east.

Transit
Bus route 93 was recently redirected to serve the Wildwood area; the route winds around Spruce Drive SW towards Bow Trail SW, at the intersection of which is the only stop located near the community, as well as an LRT station.

Parks & Recreation
The obvious highlight of Wildwood is the inclusion of Edworthy Park within its borders. While other communities simply border this great park, Wildwood literally has it as its backyard. This is a huge reason why the home prices don't dip below $1.5M.

What does Edworthy have to offer? Furthermore, the Lawrey Gardens and Douglas Fir Trail are located within Edworthy Park. Residents of Wildwood can take a short walk and enjoy the wildlife and plant life of the former -- the round-leaved orchid, small wood anemone, warbles, catbirds, Canada Geese, ring-billed gulls -- or marvel in the majesty of dense douglas fir trees, lookout points, and extensive dirt/gravel trails of the latter.
