The boundaries of the community range from Crowchild Trail to the west, 14th Street to the east, 17th Avenue to the south and Bow River to the north.

Transit
Sunalta is the first stop on the West LRT Line, which makes it very convenient for residents.

Parks & Recreation
Royal Sunalta Park is located within the community, on its south side; it consists of simply nine tennis courts, perfect for residents interested in the sport. Just to the north up 14th Street SW is the Bow River for residents to enjoy canoeing and rafting.

Sunalta is a great community for shopping; in fact, it's located just west of a huge collection of stores, including both the CORE Shopping Centre and hubs of boutiques located throughout the area to the east. Also located within this area, along the Elbow River, is the Calgary Stampede for residents who enjoy the rodeo.
