Lower Mount Royal is a beautiful and unique SW Calgary community bordered by 17th Avenue SW to the north, College Lane SW to the east, Royal Avenue SW to the south and 14th Street SW to the west. No parks are located within the Lower Mount Royal community. However, a small portion of the Earl Grey Park, just south, does extend into the community. Regarding shopping, as in other affluent communities in Calgary, residents must take a drive to find what they want. Residential peace and quiet, which equates to strict zoning, is the priority for homes of this caliber. In the case of Lower Mount Royal residents can simply head a short ways north to the Core Shopping Centre and surrounding boutiques, shops, eateries and bars.
