Springbank Hill is one of the newest communities in Calgary, formed in 1999. Subdivisions of the community include Summit of Montreux, Springborough, Anatapi, The Slopes, Spring Valley and of course Springbank Hill itself.

What are the boundaries of Springbank Hill? The Slopes to the west, 69th Street to the east, Glenmore Trail to the south and 17th Avenue to the north. Home prices in the area range from $600,000 to $4,000,000 approximately. As of 2012 8,783 people lived in the community in a total of 3,166 residences.

Parks & Recreation
Springbank Hill does not contain any parks; furthermore, the immediate residential area around it north of the Glenmore Trail and west of Sarcee Trail SW does not contain many parks either. But this is no problem because the Elbow River and its banks lie just south of the community and offer more than enough opportunities for outdoor recreation. Just to the east of the community is, as well, a large collection of stores, and beyond that is the Richmond Road Co-Op Shopping Centre.
