Palliser - SW Calgary Real Estate


Palliser was established in 1967 and by 2012 had a population of 3,293 persons. 1,707 homes make up the community and they range in price from approximately $600,000 to $750,000. The community used to include Pump Hill, but in 1991 the two were separated. As a result Palliser is a very small community but with ample green space nonetheless; it is bordered by 90th Avenue SW to the north, 19th Street SW to the east, Southland Drive SW to the south and 24th Street SW to the west.

Palliser is served by bus routes 16 and 84.

Parks & Recreation
The Tom Brook Athletic Park is located within Palliser. Its features include ample parking, a picnic area, a softball diamond and lighted regulation soccer field. Athletic parks like this in Calgary offer much more than the general park with only a softball field or in some cases multiple softball fields and an open green space. The Glenmore Landing Shopping Centre, located nearby, is the largest source of shopping in the area.
