The big recreational attraction in the area is the Heritage Park Historical Village, located just southwest of the community. This historical site maps out the area's history from 1860 to 1950. The five areas of the park include the 1860s Fur Trading Fort and First Nationals Encampment, the 1880s Pre-Railway Settlement, the 1900s Living Historical Village and the Heritage Town Square.
