Elboya is bordered by Stanley Park/Elbow River to the north, Elbow Drive to the west, 50th Avenue S to the south and many roads to the east: Macleod Trail/45 Avenue SW/4th Street SW. First developed in 1947, in 2012 the population of the community was 1,712. 783 homes make up Elboya, making it a very small community for Calgary. Generally the smaller the community the more expensive the homes are in the city, and Elboya is no exception with prices ranging from $1.5M to $3M approximately.

Bus route three travels up Elbow Drive.

Parks & Recreation
Elboya Park is located in the middle of the community. A great new playground was built in the fall of 2012. Crescent Park is located shortly to the west and Stanley Park is located to the north. Stanley Park features everything from tennis courts to BBQ stands to lawn bowling, at least in areas which are not still damaged from flooding. The nearest shopping to Elboya is the Chinook Shopping Centre, complete with stores like Aerie, Hudson's Bay, Guess and much more.
