Developed largely in the 1950s, Britannia is bordered on its western side by the Elbow River, to the east by Elbow Dr SW to the south by 50 Avenue SW and to the north by the Elbow River as well. Riverdale park is located within its boundaries and stretches through the center of the community.

Home prices range from $800,000 to $6,000,000, making Britannia some of the most expensive real estate in all of Calgary -- no matter the quadrant.
