Hamptons - NW Calgary Real Estate

Hamptons is bordered by Sarcee Trail to the west, Shaganappi Trail to the east, Country HIlls Boulevard to the south and Stoney Trail to the north. In 2012 the population was 7,905. Home prices in the community range from $600k to $1.5M approximately. The southern half of the community was constructed in 1976 while the northern portion was established in 1990.

Parks & Recreation
A large portion of the Hamptons community is devoted to green space, including three lakes. It does not, however, contain an actual park. The best one to go to, just shortly south, is the Nose Hill Park. Features include washrooms, wildlife, native grassland and hiking trails, as well as separate and designated off-leash spaces.

The Hamptons Co-Op Shopping Centre is the closest place to shop, in addition to the Crowfoot Co-Op Shopping Center which is further west. Stores include Martinizing Dry Cleaning, Chiro Care, Dental Centre, Accentric Hair Gallery, Co-Op Liquor Store and Subway, amongst others.
