Parks & Recreation
Erlton contains Talisman Centre, a non-profit organization which offers fitness-related facilities to members of the community. Reader Rock garden isn't a park per se, but it's arguably much more interesting. It's includes the Reader house, which was recently restored, and inside of it is the Reader's Garden Cafe. The garden was the pet project of the cemetery superintendent from 1912 to 1943. North of Erlton is a hub of shopping. The Calgary Stampede, an annual rodeo, is held nearby as well.
